With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet S. Geis (Brookville, Indiana), who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James J Geis; her parents, Felix Ellis and Rady Ellis (Blake); her parents-in-law, Anthony and Mary Geis (Spaeth); and her sisters, Betty Umfleet (Ellis) and Joan Davis (Ellis).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Laura M. Geis (Randall J. Geis) of Brookville, CAP, Jennifer A. Strohmier (Edward) of Brookville, Brian M. Geis, Charles A. Geis (Bernadette) of Atlanta, Georgia and Angela S. Geis of Brookville; her grandchildren, Sara Hyson, Amber Wilson, Nakeya Geis, Felix, Leisl Geis, Peter, Maddy, Matthew, Lara Geis, Sam, Celena, Brayden Strohmier, Mahto and Charlie Fast Horse; her great grandchild Kiley Hyson; her siblings, Angela "Sue" Linkel (John), Drusilla "Dotta" Masters, Mary Margaret "Herbie" Thomas, David "Butch" Ellis (Phyllis), William Ellis (Brenda) and Richard Ellis (Barb); and also Corinne Johnson (Geis). She is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews.
