He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Beatrice C. Blevins Lewis; his wife Emily Lewis; and his daughters, Beverly M. Lewis and Sheri Yingst.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lewis (Paula) of Connersville, Terri Bishop (Trev) of Brookville and Jerri Harnishfeger (Andrew) of Brookville; and his brother Harvey Jake'Lewis of Connersville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
