He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lovins and Nellie Lovins (Fields); and his former wife Donna Lovins (Stacy). He is survived by: his wife Nellie Sue Corum; his daughter Misty Kapteyn of Shelbyville; his stepchildren, Jeff Long of Melbourne, Greg Long of Batesville and Hope Baudendistel of Brookville, Indiana; and his brothers, Ray Lovins (Joyce) of Brookville, Indiana. and Jack Lovins (Sue) of Brookville, Indiana.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
