He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Chaney and Edith Chaney (Phillips); his son Elvis Ray Chaney; and his siblings, Harold Dale Chaney, Carl Chaney, Tracy Chaney, Herman J. Chaney and Richard Chaney.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Johnson; his daughter Patricia King of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandchildren, Hannah King, Jeffrey England, Amanda Chaney and Tyler Chaney; and his siblings, Cathy Jo Metz, Morgan Chaney, Paul Chaney, Liz Lane, Annie Chaney and Billy Chaney.
