He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Oehlman and Elsie Oehlman (Beneker); his wife Martha Frances Taylor; his daughter Cynthia L. Oehlman; and his siblings, Molly Haas, Ruth Utzinger, Matilda Kallies, Carl Oehlman and Rudy Oehlman.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Hofer (Junior) of Brookville and Keith Oehlman (Patsy) of Guilford; his grandchildren, Dustin Hofer, Brett Hofer (Amber), Derek Hofer (Brandi), Brooks Hofer (Hannah), Amber Morris (Dan), Laura Shelton (Joshua), Tyler Oehlman (Kristina) and Sarah Robinson (Alex); his great grandchildren, Graham Hofer, Hudson Hofer, Paisley Hofer, Dawson Hofer, Gwen Hofer, Meredith Hofer, Bennett Hofer, Hayden Hofer, Emma Morris, Grace Morris, Amelia Morris, Jack Morris, Rosalie Shelton, Katherine Shelton, Greyson Oehlman, Kellen Oehlman, Clare Oehlman, Oliver Robinson and Archie Robinson; and his sister-in-law Clara Lewis.
