He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ward and Audrey Ward (Hunter); his sister Diane; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Stout, Vicki Ward and Lee Anne Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Ward of Brookville, Darius 'Dee' Ward II (Laura) of Oviedo and Justin Ward (Trisha) of Brookville, Indiana; his brothers, Doug Ward of Camden and Dennis Ward of Brookville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Ashley Braunwart, Guissella Monteros, Camden Ward, Macey Ward, Tanner Ward, Callie Ward, Dristen Ward, Levi Henninger and Zola Norrod.
