He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie Jones; his son Danny Ray; and his siblings, Fannie Dunn, William and David Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Marcella Roberts (Jerry) of Carmel, Dexter Jones (Becky) of Laurel, Steve Jones (Jeanie) of Connersville, Todd Jones (Kristy) of Vonore and Amber Grizzell (Bobby) of Laurel, Indiana; his grandchildren, Maranda Zimmerman, Amanda Bogue, Brandon Roberts, Derrek Jones, Daniel Jones, Shelby Jones, Jarrod Jones, Timmothy Jones and Harper Grizzell; his great grandchildren, Rade, Robin, Adrian, Ross, Elliot, Everly, Chloe, Olivia, Lincoln and Josephine; and his sister Rosie Banks of Laurel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
