He is survived by: his wife Laverne Jansing; his children, Sharon Bartlett (Jim), Randy Jansing (Dottie), Sandy Collins (Tim) and Shelley Schnur (Roger); his grandchildren, Nicholas Riedman (Brianne), Andrea Gillman (Curtis), Shawna Fackey (Ryan), Rochelle Heis (Derek), Chris Jansing (Amanda), Melody Feller (Brett), Michael Jansing (Hayley), Bridget Collins, Courtney Parks (Dustin) and Cassidy Schnur; and his siblings, Marilyn Smith and Marc Jansing.
A rosary was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1207 E Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery (1207 E Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1207 E Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). The military honors was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
