He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Vickers and Ruby Ailene Vickers (Roberson). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sears; his children, Nevie Hail of Williamsburg, Charles J. Vickers III of Brookville, Shelly Sizemore of Moores Hill and Benjamin J. Vickers of Edgewood, Kentucky; and his siblings, Rita Evanshine of Williamsburg and Thomas Earl Vickers of Wilmington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
