With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl E. Simmons of Brookville, Indiana, born in Walton, Kentucky, who passed away on June 1, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Simmons and June Phipes Simmons; his wife Jean Simmons; his sons, David and Tom Simmons; and his brothers, Leonard Jr., Donald and John Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Shelley (Bob Hayes) of Laurel, Carol Lucas (Gene) of Blooming Grove and Mark Simmons (Libby) of Connersville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
