She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Lanning and Marshall Lanning; her adoptive father Dr. Herbert; her son Tom Knecht; her daughter-in-law Cindy Knecht; her granddaughter Myah Knecht; and her siblings, Agnes Mason, Marge Brockman, Opal Rhodes, Kathryn VanDalsen, Betty Martin, Geneva Waltz, Bernice Goble-Bowen, Howard, John, Donald, Robert, Alvin and James Lanning.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Knecht; her children, Birdie, Ed Knecht of Brookville, Kay Parker (Dave) of Brookville and Mary Lazzara (Alan) of Illinois; her sister Mary Tebbe; her daughter-in-law Dixie Knecht; her grandchildren, Jay Knecht, Carey Minniti (Knecht), Caleb Knecht, Madeleine Knecht, Kyle Knecht, Alison Kehoe (Knecht), Alan Lazzara, Phillip Lazzara, Laura Waldron (Lazzara), Kaitlin Quinlan (McGill) and Kelly McGill; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Knecht, Calvin Knecht, Emmett Minniti, Samuel Minniti, Ryker Lazzara, Kale Lazzara, Roya Lazzara, Lane Quinlan, Ace Quinlan and Henry Waldron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
