She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hertel and Catherine Hertel (Knecht); her husband Carl J. Kirschner; her siblings, Charles Hertel and Judy Strohmier; her grandson Brandon Reeder; and her son-in-law Rick Bischoff.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Bischoff of Brookville, Indiana, Paula Reeder (Dale) of Brookville, Indiana, Carla Sizemore (John) of Brookville, Indiana, Gary Kirschner (Lorry) of Brookville, Indiana and Gene Kirschner of Brookville, Indiana; and her siblings, Pat Steffen of Pompano Beach, Florida and Tom Hertel of Brookville, Indiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren as well as six great-grandchildren.
