He is survived by: his wife Doris Jeanne Schrader (Cathedral); his children, Phillip Shultz (MaryJo) of Brecksville, OH, Thomas Shultz (Carolyn) of Brookston, Kenneth Shultz (Rita) of Battle Ground, Margaret Grogan (Terry) of Battle Ground and Shirley Frist (David) of Battle Ground; his sisters, Evelyn Scott of Zionsville and Marilyn Denton of Monticello; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Shultz of Lafayette.

Memorials may be made in Virgil's name to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
