He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wright and Frances Wright (Higdon); his wife Mattie Jewell Wright; and his brothers, Laurence and John Wright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Wright of Brookston and Melissa Wright of Brookston; his brothers, Michael Wright of Shelbyville and Daniel Wright of Shelbyville; and his sister-in-law Ivonne Wright of Greenwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
