It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Johnson (Brookston, Indiana), who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Marlin Johnson; and her parents, Curtis Kindig and Reba Kindig (Whaley). She is survived by: her children, Ross Johnson of Sheldon, Rhonda Hendee (Brett) of Tampa and Teresa Welsh (Jeff) of Goodland; her sister Margaret Kindig Stonecipher; and her grandchildren, Lindsi Johnson Gulli, Lauren Johnson Liebert, Lisa Hendee Wilkerson, Michael Hendee, Laura Hendee, Jennifer Welsh, Ben Welsh and Luke Welsh. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
