She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira B. Qualls and Marjorie E. Qualls (Nice); and her brother Robert E. Qualls. She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Foster (James) of Delphi; her grandsons, Joe Foster (Shawna) of West Lafayette and Justin Foster (Hannah) of Lafayette; her great grandchild Leo Foster; her sisters, Lois Pickett of Battle Ground, Sandra Maas of Brookston and Carolyn Ferguson of Brookston; and her sister-in-law Joyce Shrock of Frankfort.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ruby's name to the Grace Community Baptist Church or to the family of Ruby Smith.
