With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roscoe E. Deckard (Brookston, Indiana), who passed away on June 22, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Deckard and Alma Deckard VanMeter (Phillips); and his sister Audrey M. Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Slayton; his sister Esther M. May of West Lafayette; his grandchildren, Ryan Deckard (Carla) of Brookston, Kristin Dawson (Jay) of Battle Ground, Ashley M. Lee (Jason) of Lafayette, Emily Swain (Jon) of Blackfoot, ID and Corrine Deckard of Manchester, MI.; and his great grandchildren, Rhett, Kaitlyn Deckard, Nicholas and Allison Dawson.
Memorial contributions may be made in Roscoe's name to White Oak Health Campus of Monticello or Badger Grove Community Baptist Church.
