He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Blanche M. Schwartz (Faker); his wife Marian V. Datzman; and his siblings, Donald R. Schwartz, Vincent Lee Schwartz, Venice Cors and Eileen E. Anstett.
He is survived by: his children, Sue A. Bell, Scott Schwartz (Cheri) of West Lafayette and Stephen W. Schwartz of Brookston; his sister Margaret Hofmeyer (Tom) of Fowler; and his grandchildren, Zachary Schwartz (Shelby), Megan Greaves (David), Morgan Pacelli (Carmen), Sara Miller, Janice Miller, Matthew Bell and Laura Bell. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
