She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scheffee and Lavonne Scheffee (Brugh); her husband John Brettnacher; and her son Mike Brettnacher. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Farney (Loren) of Brookston and Daniel Brettnacher (Becky) of West Lafayette; her brothers, James Scheffe (Judy) of Lafayette and Ron Scheffee (Nancy) of West Lafayette; her grandchildren, Ashley Hensler (Wes) of Brookston, Austen Hensler (Zach) of Brookston, Aaron Farney (Logan) of Brookston, Grant Brettnacher (Maya) of Indianapolis, Chelsea Brettnacher (Breighton Phillips) of West Lafayette, Chloe Brettnacher of Wolcott, Doc Brettnacher of West Lafayette and Koen Brettnacher of West Lafayette; and her great grandchildren, Maverick, Kip, Hank, Boone, Brooks, Larson, Johnny B and Lucy Hensler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
