She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank W. VanVoorst and Eileen F. VanVoorst (Rikman); her son Matthew Berkshire; and her siblings, William VanVoorst and Claudette Thompson.
She is survived by: her pet Bella; her children, Gregory Berkshire, John Berkshire of Lafayette, Antrine "Anne" Wagner and Elizabeth Samperio; her grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander, Matthew, Kaleb, Ryan, Cecilia, Isabel and Louie; and her sisters, Janet Pherson, Frances Clark and Georgette Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement.
