He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Poppinga and Marilyn Poppinga (Nesbitt) of Lafayette; and his sister Jill K. Poppinga of Indianapolis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
