He is survived by: his wife Emma; his daughters, Denise Richards (Brian Herrin) of Lafayette and Jodie Anderson (Ray) of Texas; his siblings, Jim Brissey (Hilda), Richard Parsons (Patti), Robert Parsons, Virginia Edwards (David), Brenda Niccum (Ron), Mary Neal and Connie Graves; his granddaughter Breann Richards of Brookston; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Richards and Alexis Van.
