He was predeceased by: his son Jeff Herget; and his brothers, Ted, Bob and Greg Herget. He is survived by: his children, Troy Herget (Josie) of Brookston, Brett Herget of Crawfordsville and Shannon Leming (Rich) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Trevor Leming, Tanner Leming, Katie Herget and Kyle Herget; and his siblings, Rosemary Howard (Les) of Fort Wayne, Angela Haselton of Battle Ground and Steve Herget (Deb) of Brookston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joes name to: Laurels of Dekalb 520 west Liberty Street Butler IN 46721 A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Brookston I.O.O.F.
