She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Brown and Anna E. Brown Grassmyer (Kockert); her husband John H. Mills of Round Grove; her sisters, Betty Gregory and Ruth Wilburn; and also Infants Margaret Ann, and Gary Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Poynter of Fayetteville, GA, Peggy Sabino (Louis) of Nicholasville, KY, Nancy Herbert of Lafayette, Debra Lemming (John) of West Lafayette, John A. Mills (Cindy) of Logansport and Donald H. Mills of Lafayette. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception (1212 South St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery (504 S Michigan St, Oxford, IN 47971).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cathedral of St. Mary c/o Haiti Fund in honor of mom.
