David Randall Sowders Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Randall Sowders of Brookston, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Dee and Mary Catherine Sowders (Sheets); his sister Dawn Mincey; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Kennedy and Ernie Mincey.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Brown; his children, Nicole Mordenti (Joe) and Adam Sowders of Delphi; his siblings, Dana Sowders (Colleen) of Crawfordsville, Duane Sowders (Beth) of Lafayette and Debbie Kennedy of Lafayette; his grandsons, Austin and Alex Sowders; and his pets, Rooster, Pockets, Whiskey, Luna and Sally.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1916 Meharry St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
