With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David H. Nelson of Brookston, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold D.. He is survived by: his pet Laredo; his wife Melissa; his children, Scott Nelson (Maria) of Columbia, SC, Diana Winningham (David) of Birmingham, AL, David Harold Nelson Jr. (Sheralyn) of Villa Rica, GA and Shalana Nelson of Campbellsville, KY; his stepson Casey Norwood (Brooke) of Perry, OH.; and his brother Richard Nelson of Mississippi. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the American Cancer Society.
