She is survived by: her daughter Jenny McKnight; her former husband Curtis Slyder; her son Nick McKnight of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Olivia Templin and Brooks McKnight; and her siblings, Cathy Lendman, Bobbie Albertson, Jodie Townsend and Mary Rich.
