He was predeceased by: his parents, George West and Anastasia West (Kielczewski); and his brother Donald E. West. He is survived by: his pets, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Turner and Hooch; his sister Sue West (Daniel Balyeat); and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Williamson (Bill), Katie Tucker, Morgan Bond (Randall), Taylor Broadstreet (Ryan), Jaime E. Smith-Bean (Chad), Angela West-McKean (Jeff), Sherri Kirchner (Jim), Matthew J. Smith (Stephanie) and Tony West.
