He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Hess and Wanda R. Hess (Kane); and his sister Teresa Hess. He is survived by: his children, Maggie Jean Hess of South Bend, IN and Michael Curtis Hess of Bronson, MI; his grandchildren, Gracie Shank, Harmony Hill, Christian Hartpence, Gabriella Garrison, Joseph Garrison and Domnick Hess; and his siblings, Debra Blacklaw (Steve) of Bristol, Michel Gilliland (Brad) of Wolcottville, IN and Patrick Hess (Sierra) of Ft. Wayne, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Center for Hospice Care.
