She was predeceased by: her mother Susan Stirsman; and her siblings, Willadine Robinson, Shirley, Raymond, Joseph, Charles Stirsman and Harold Wilcox.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Shojai (Mahmoud), Laird Monteith (Jodi) and Gene Monteith (Sherri); and her grandchildren, Erin Schubert, Andrew, Colin and Kyle Monteith. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
