June Jeannetta Litzenberg Obituary
June Jeannetta Litzenberg, 97, of Bristol, Indiana, was called home to our Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022. Born July 16, 1925, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert E. Barrand & Clara M. Vodde Barrand, she married her High School sweetheart, Harold O. Litzenberg (a U.S. Army World War II Veteran), on Halloween, October 31, 1942. Together they lovingly raised 3 children: Harold E. (Maria) Litzenberg of Las Cruces, NM; Jeannetta (Nicholas) Parker of Fort Wayne, IN; Dale (Pamela) Litzenberg of Bristol, IN.
June worked at Magnavox for 30 years and was well-respected and adored by everyone who knew her, as she had a quiet, yet spunky, sweet, and loving disposition. She loved to travel with her husband, always taking a multitude of pictures. Her hobbies included sewing, creating macramé plant hangers, knitting & crocheting. Last, but certainly not least, June was a Godly woman who attended Wallen Baptist church (now called Headwaters Church) and was part of a group of women known as the "Jubilee's.".
She was deeply loved by her grandchildren (22), Great-Grandchildren (49), and Great-Great-Grandchildren (22).
June is preceded in death by her parents; her Husband (who also died on their Anniversary weekend 17 years ago); her siblings, Jack (Jane), Hellen (Keith), and Delores "Dee" (Jerold, "Jerry"); her daughter, Jeannetta A. Parker; and her grandson, Eric A. Husted.
