It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay C. Ritchie of Bristol, Indiana, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay C. Ritchie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Hollandsworth and Calvin Ritchie; his wife Betsy Ann (Williams); his siblings, Alene, Dorothy Jean (Simmons), Wilma Faye (Knox), Irene Barrett and James David; and his brothers-in-law, Marlan Hosler and Prentice Barrett of Jay.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Jay (Jessica) of Harrisburg, PA, Theodore Matthew of Indianapolis and Elizabeth Ann Kauchak (Chip) of Keller, TX.; and his siblings, Sue Welch (Dennie), Marie Hosler and Dale Ritchie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation, PO Box 8700, Harrisburg, PA 17105, and directed to the UPMC Harrisburg NICU.
