He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Showalter and Helen Marie Showalter (Kehr); his brothers, Jim and Dave Showalter; and his sister-in-law Sherry Showalter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bishop; his children, Jeff Showalter (Angie) of Goshen and Angie Pletcher (Chad) of Goshen; his grandchildren, Carly Pletcher, McKenzie Hurtekant (Bryce), Zachary and Jacob Showalter; and also, Burton Showalter of Goshen and Julie Haab (David) of New Paris. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and many friends.
