She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Whalen and Anna Whalen (Rhoades); her sister Marion Magsam (Mame); and her daughter Terri Tharp. She is survived by: her husband John Testa; her children, Crissy Quenichet (Ben) and John W. Testa (Laura); her grandchildren, Leo Quenichet, Reese Quenichet and Lillian Testa; her nieces, Kim Podvasnik (Chris) and Sherri Magsam; her nephew Geoff Magsam (Kathleen); and her cousins, Joyce Buchinski (Charlie), Rita Karczewski (Wally), Joe Whalen and Jim Whalen (Mary).

In honor of Jane's lifelong love of books, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Burlington, IN Community Library.
