He was predeceased by: his father Donald "Bud"; and his sister Vickie Brown. He is survived by: his mother Naomi Hoot of Cold Water, Michigan.; his wife Lori Gregg Tanner; his children, Eli and Liberty Harshbarger; and his sister Valerie Cheuvront (Don). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
