He is survived by: his spouse Jo Lynn Shoemaker; his sons, Michael William Sprinkle (Nancy) and Rodney Joe Sprinkle; his grandchildren, Justin Sprinkle, Joshua Sprinkle and Shelbie Lowe; his great grandchildren, Journey Sprinkle, Kendrick Lowe, Kaden Lowe and Kylen Lowe; his siblings, Tom Collins (Kathy), Patricia Bowlby (Gary) and Angie Swim (Jack); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Shoemaker (Betty), Jim Shoemaker (Polly), Sandy Collins and Pearl Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
