He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Reed and Olive Reed (Musser); his wife Helen M. Weil; and his siblings, Howard Reed, Harold Reed, Sr. and Helen Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Shirlee Barnard of Bremen, Randy Reed (Thelma) of Bremen and Jan Nelson (Steve) of Bremen; his grandchildren, Sherry Kasprzak, Susie Muszynski, Tim Nelson, Jen Berger, Steve Nelson and Brad Nelson; and his siblings, Ruth Monesmith of Bourbon, Barbara Miller of Bremen, Donald Reed of Bremen and Kathryn Troxel of Nappanee. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Bremen Church of the Brethren or the Bremen FFA.
