Schlemmer of Bremen, Indiana, born in North Liberty, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Johnson and Helen Johnson (Phillips); her husbands, Dale Gouker and Harold Schlemmer; and her children, Mike Gouker and Peggy Schlemmer Paul.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Leavell (Dave) of Plymouth, Pam Gouker of Plymouth and Betsy Paul of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Chad Bishop (Megan), Aaron Bishop (Kerry), Abby Knisley and Ashley Anciso (Mark); her daughter-in-law Barb Gouker of Plymouth; her daughter Debra Hanson of Plymouth; her close friend Melvin Jones of South Bend; and her sisters, Nancy McCartney of South Bend and Wanda Mangus of Plymouth. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
