Patrick Monhaut Obituary

We bid farewell to Patrick Monhaut of Bremen, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Patrick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Monhaut and Margaret Monhaut (Dundon); his wife Joyce; his grandson Eric Schaefer; and his siblings, Margaret, Ruth, Helen, Joseph, Edward and Ralph.

He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Kent (Robert) of Brownsburg, Laura Schaefer (Robert) of Zionsville and Sharon Stump (Gregory) of Prospect, KY; his grandchildren, Ross Kent (Rachel), Allison Schmidt (Jake), Grant Kent (Erica), Adam, Ryan Schaefer (Victoria), Hayden (Natalie) and Jordan Stump; his great grandchildren, Odi, Xenia Schaefer and Luella Schmidt; and his sisters, Cecila Dolan (Bill) and Joan Richards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, Pat moved in with his daughter for a short period of time before moving to an apartment at Sunrise Assisted Living in Carmel, Indiana.
