It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Shorter of Bremen, Indiana, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brison Martin and Chloe Martin (Kipfer); her spouse Clem Shorter; and her daughter Martha. She is survived by: her children, Teri Ghatani (Shonne), Christine Haussmann (Curt), Pete Shorter (Karen) and Susan LaFree (Bryan); her grandchildren, Matthew Haussmann (Cristina), Jonathan Haussmann (Laura), Ashley Brown (Toby), Adam Ghatani, Amber Ghatani (Bill), Zak Shorter (Carley), Sara Loiacono (Matt), Jackie Donathen (Ben), Amanda Hueni (Jon), Andy LaFree, Allison Weldy (Jared) and Brison Shorter; and her siblings, Dewey Martin, Lowell Martin, Mildred Leffert and June Pittman. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church or Grace Food Pantry, 1237 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
