Arnaud Zimmern wrote a sympathy message

“Many of us in the graduate student community at ND made it through hard times thanks to Mandy's abundant care and thoughtfulness -- she was full of foresight and calm, and though she wore her sorrows and hardships lightly, she was ready to steep herself in ours to help lighten our loads. It was amazing to see her bring light into the world. I count myself very lucky to have known her. God bless you, Mandy, I miss you more than I can say.”
