He was predeceased by: his wife DeMariss "Dee" Horvath; his parents, Brison Martin and Chloe Martin (Kipfer); his son-in-law Kim Cox; and his siblings, Robert, Dale, Marjorie, Walter, Dewey, Mildred, Ivar and Brison, Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Erma June Pittman; and his children, James (DeAnn) of Bremen, Judith Brinkhoff (Gerrit) of Bremen, Richard (Aldona) of Bremen, Nancy Cox of Plymouth and Sharon Jennings (Bruce) of Bremen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
