He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sahlhoff, and Esther Sahlhoff, Sr. (Schlundt); his wife Dorothy L. "Dot" Hohman; his son Tony Lee; and his sisters, Doris Reed, Dorothy A. Sahlhoff and Carolyn Douglass.
He is survived by: his children, Karmen Leeper (Chris) of Bremen, April Schmidt (James) of Warsaw and Rhonda Davis (Dustin) of Mentone; his grandchildren, Dillon Davis (Lexie), Evan Schmidt, Sierra Dawson (LeRoy), Sarah Hatter (Anthony), Anna Cartwright (Alex), Katie Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt; and his siblings, Marian Loucks, John Sahlhoff (Carole) of Bremen, Jane Allen of Plymouth and Ellen Haug (Lewis) of Bremen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (605 S Center St, Bremen, IN 46506). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
