He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Barnett and James Newhouse; his daughter Iradella Holland; his siblings, Marion Newhouse and Billy Linell Newhouse; his grandchild Jabari; and his niece Etienne Newhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Aracada Newhouse; his daughters, Rebecca Newhouse and Janice (James); and his son-in-law Melvin Holland. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren along with 7 great great grandchildren, also a host of cousins, nieces, & nephews.
