It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Rice of Bremen, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Rice and Verena Rice; his siblings, Sandra "Toots" Annis, Ben Rice and Roger Rice; and his daughter Shannon Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Edison; his children, Kirk Rice (Stacy), Joshua Rice (Lisa) and Paige Edison Moser (Yale); his son-in-law Joseph Walker; his grandchildren, Devin Rice (Rebecca), Skyler Rice (Ashley), Shelby Rice, Olivia Rice, Mathew Rice, Luke Rice, Jarrod Walker and Aubrie Walker; and his siblings, Bonnie Kelley and Jeff Rice. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
