With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. Schneider of Bremen, Indiana, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Pete" Schneider and Hattie Schneider (Stuntz); and his sister Rosemary Jones. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Sherri Sanchez (Apolinar) of Leesburg, Suzane Akers of Bremen, Kelly Schneider (Kimberly) of Bremen and Steven Schneider (Mindi) of Lewis Center, OH; his grandchildren, Sarah Pedersen (Matthew), Jill Schneider, David Schneider, Kellen Schneider, Kasey Schneider (Christina), Mathew Schneider (Amy Kingery) and Kelsi Akers; and his great grandchildren, Keenan Akers and Amara Schneider.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Bremen Historical Society, 111 N. Center St., Bremen, IN 46506.
