He was predeceased by: his parents, Crist E., Sr. and Wilma Helmuth (Yoder); his brothers, Eli, Homer, LaMar and Don Helmuth; his brother-in-law Willis Lehman; his nephew-in-law Steve Prosser; and his niece-in-law Kaysee Neher.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Faurote; his siblings, Frieda Lehman, Erma Schmucker (Melvin), Laura Stutzman, Mary Lou Mullet (Merlin), Martha Whetstone (Ray), Merle Helmuth (Nora) and Floyd Helmuth (Rose); his brother-in-law Allen Neher (Vicki); his nephew Matt Neher (Jen); his niece Shayne Prosser; his sisters-in-law, Jan Helmuth and Martha Kurtz (Maynard); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caitlyn Myers (Damon), Delainey Neher, Kyle Neher (Mickayla), Logan Prosser (Aleena) and Ciera Prosser (Matt).
