He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Newport and Vivian Newport (Stanz); his wife Angela; his brothers, Ronnie, Robert and Mike Newport; his nephews, Robby and Bobby Newport; and his niece Jessica Giacone.
He is survived by: his children, Josh Newport (Jamie), Jarred Newport, Jason Newport (Michelle), Tim Bixler and Yawnie Adkins; his sisters, Charlotte Dinn (David) and Kelly Moore (Bill); and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Newport and Teryl Newport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
