It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Persinger (Brazil, Indiana), who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Persinger and Irene Persinger (Neiswinger); his wife Janice Spear; his son-in-law Jack Oberholtzer; his grandson Benjamin Oberholtzer; his great grandchild Oliver Persinger; his sister Polly; his brother-in-law Max Johnson; his brother Dick Persinger; and his brother-in-law Bill Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Oberholtzer of Brazil, Penny Cooprider (Chip) of Centerpoint, Tim Persinger (Michele) of Clay City, Robin Swalls (Alan) of Brazil and Andy Persinger (Angie) of Clay City; his grandchildren, Eric Oberholtzer (Bradi), Ryan Persinger (Katie), Calvin Curtis (Stacy), Daniel Curtis (Shearea), Seth Curtis (Amber), Tanner Persinger (Brandi), Hunter Collins (Trisha), Mason Persinger (Laci), Korey Utterback (Nate), Mark Leburn (Amanda), Heath Cooprider (Rebecca) and Britany Wilson (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Gracie, Mayven, Ethan, Rylan, Malee (Derek), Josie, Cody, Kyler, Nolan, Kinsley, Cynthia, Kealynn, Izzy, Addy, Elijah, Remi, Rogan, Charli, River, Ramsey, Tori, Olivia, Avery, Freya, Lizzie (Timothy), Hunter, Zac, Adonis, Cici, Evalette and Koden; his great great grandchildren, Julia and Nola; and his siblings, Larry Persinger (Rita) and Debbie Reed. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
