He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack McCullough and Hattie Stoops McCullough; and his siblings, Marjorie, Doris, Robert, Kathryn and Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Caroline McCullough (Butt); his son Wade McCullough; and his daughter-in-law Sara Pliskin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
